Ghost 03:26
Ghost Lyrics - FolkAF Perhaps I’ll walk away now not much more to say now my heart, heart, heart, can’t take much more of this. If I go away now, they will still remain now, footfalls of friends or colleagues. I’ve been a Ghost so many times now,I guess, it’s sad to say. When the feelings get too great now, I want to fade away. Perhaps they’ll talk about me, It don’t matter to me, I won’t hear it, anyways. Soon they’ll forget about, fading memories, Like dreams, they always slip away. I’m getting older, now, the feelings never change, I’m tired, of this game. No more burning bridges, here I Will remain, Tomorrow, will be a better day.

A Sailor’s Repose - FolkAF A sailor crosses the Ocean, seeking new verve for repose. He hears a sweet song across the seaway, from a voice he has searched for so long. He turns his craft towards an island, one never charted before. He spies on the rocks, a fair maiden, hair flowing like the waves of the sea. Her beautiful voice called him forward, Knowing he would give all he had. He boldly joined in her chorus, With a voice he knew not he had. His ship hit the rocks towards destruction, but his doom he did not despair. The hungry waves did consume him, but the Mermaid, greeted him there. Her sweet salty kiss freeded is body To become to become what he longed for to be. He knew that he never would leave there, For this was song without end.

Exhale, Discover - FolkAF Late night duck out Turn my thoughts to the sidewalk Neon electric fireflies for the backyard 22 in a straight line walk in beat to the odd time Shoe treads damp ground ethanol to the city's heart Heavy air and towers graphing the skyline Escape pending quiet down a cycling mind There are secrets the city keeps I’m taking the answers Side streets wrong turns a studied lack of commitment Black bags crts a gathering of discarded Eyes look down into open palms haptic ushers for silence Warm light swam down washing over the concrete floor Cracked caps backpack aerosol death rattles trespass suggestions an afterthought for the curb cuz There are secrets the city keeps I’m taking the answer

Stowaway 02:44
Stowaway - FolkAF twilight’ll kill this burning ocean air my hood I draw close my back against the wind Whispers rumor of the valley there It’s marked It’s known If there’s torches o’er the ridge it’s too late The steamer presses forward kicking all this glass in it’s wake Accelerate with the threat of the absent sun In the distance lie the the towns that you stole from, all the tired backs you insisted to climb on Over the sand through deceptive night skies Dynamite for the other side Ride it out for a while in the end we’ll win They store their guns they build their walls and then they sat with their safe Yea, from the high deck they look down How well do you know the crew How did you treat your friends Have the rest of us kept tally these years Over the sand through deceptive night skies Dynamite for the other side Ride it out for a while in the end I’ll win

Where I Dwell – FolkAF I built me a house, now I, dwell in, It’s marvel of construction, and it suits my personality I built me a house, now I, fell safe in it. I think it’s perfect, perhaps I’ll never leave. I threw in a couch, and a color TV, Everything I need for a soft reality. The world outside’s a threat, that’s plain to see, When I’m in my house, no one can harm me. When I’m in my house, I’m a comfy as can be, As the World gets dark, it don’t matter to me. The walls are built of stone, and the windows iron barred, When the World’s aflame, here I will remain. Now my TV doesn’t work, and the walls are closing in, I’m sitting in the dark, now the monsters are within. I go to pull the door, but I find it’s rusted shut, Little did I know a tomb is what I built.
